Country-pop singer-songwriter Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson (CMAT) reportedly always knew she was a pop star, but no one else believed her. Now, at least in her native Ireland, where she has been regularly topping charts since 2022, people believe it. In her lyrics, she tackles heavy and depressive themes such as broken hearts and dysfunctional relationships. However, she delivers it all with absolute candor, cynical wit, and humor, during theatrical and often chaotic performances that her fans absolutely adore.

Her debut album, "If My Wife Knew I'd Be Dead," was described by HOT PRESS magazine as undoubtedly one of the most compelling Irish pop debuts of the century. In June 2023, she released her second album, "CrazyMad for me," which, like the first, debuted at number one on the Irish Albums Chart.
