DIE ANTWOORD

The wildest party on earth? Only with Die Antwoord. This South African hurricane has been leaving nothing but destruction in its wake since 2008.

Tiny ¥O-LANDI and daddy NINJA rap into the mic, with producer DJ HI-TEK on the decks (and production). Together they serve up an explosive mix of electronica and rap that they call rap-rave, mostly about the tender issues of human existence... if you count sex among them. Although it doesn't seem like it, some of their lyrics touch on social issues such as poverty, violence and racial tension in South Africa.

On the 5 albums they have released so far, they rap and rave in both English and Afrikaans. By the way, Die Antwoord means "the answer" in Afrikaans. What kind of answers do you think you will find at a rave with Die Antwoord? Find out on 20 June 2025.
