KOSHEEN 25

25 years. That's how long the Bristol band Kosheen has been on the music scene! After an extensive British and Australian tour, the charismatic singer Sian Evans will bring the 25 YEARS OF KOSHEEN show to the Czech Republic only at Metronome Prague 2024.

Their music is characterized by a mixture of different genres, including drum and bass, trip hop, electronica and pop. The group gained popularity especially with the first two albums Resist (2001) and Kokopelli (2003). Tracks like Hide U, Catch, All in my Head and Hungry became Kosheen's hit singles. In their later album Independence (2012), Kosheen showed their musical talent and expanded their repertoire to include new genres. Although they followed up on their electronic roots, rock and pop are also a prominent line that runs through the entire album. No matter what song Kosheen plays, the strongest emotional element is always singer Sian's distinctive voice and lyrics reflecting her personal experiences and feelings.

Kosheen are undoubtedly a major player in the electronic music scene and their contribution to the entire genre cannot be denied. We are pleased to welcome them here with us to celebrate their long musical career.
