MICHAL PROKOP & FRAMUS FIVE

Framus Five is one of the most important bands in Czech rock music history. And it is led by a man of many interests and professions, Michal Prokop. He is known in the musical sphere mainly as a singer, who moves approximately in the triangle of rock - soul - blues genres.

The origins of the group can be traced to 1963, but the real history under the current name dates back to 1967, when the current guitarist Michal Prokop first took to the microphone as a singer. The band temporarily ended its activity twice, once in 1971 and then in 1990, when Michal Prokop entered politics. In 2006, after the release of the album Poprvé naposledy, the band resumed full concert and recording activity. And less than 20 years later, they're still going! The new album Ostraka will soon see the light of day.
