Egyptian-British newcomers to the alternative pop scene Nxdia will be putting on a show that will get under your skin at Metronome Prague on Friday 20th June. 

Nxdia grew up in Cairo and moved to Manchester at the age of 8. The cinema they lived next to in Cairo is etched in their minds as their first source of inspiration for creating their own characters, painting, writing poetry, and eventually, songwriting. Middle Eastern influences can be heard in their music, as they often sing in Arabic as well as English.

Nxdia's music and introspective themes have an almost punk energy. It's all beautifully wrapped up in catchy beats and melodies that won't let you go. In 2020, they started recording music experiments on TikTok, where they quickly built up a strong following. Listen to their EP In The Flesh or their single She Likes a Boy, which has received over 51 million streams on Spotify since its release. Nxdia is the one to watch.
